Quilled Flowers

Quilling is a beautiful art that has lost it's way. I love designing these flowers and other embellishments from paper quilling. I am now also designing paper quilled scrapbooking embellishments.

Corner Bookmark # 1

Here is a cute little corner bookmark. The green cardstock is textured layered with patterned paper. The flower image is a free image from the internet. I love working with free coloring images as well as digital stamps.

Here you can see the bookmark in action. You just need to slip it over a few pages for it to stay in place. These bookmarks are great for gifts and you can request a matching card to go with it.

I have a bunch made and will post more pictures over the next few weeks. Look for these and regular bookmarks as well.

Madison Invitation set

I finished up this order a few weeks ago and wanted to wait until the client received them before I made this post. This order was for 120 "Madison" Invitations. Personal information is blurred out for the clients respect.

This wasn't a particluar easy order. It involved cutting 360 circles just for the front monogram. Each invitation has an envelope flap and belt buckle enclosure. This set is made of WorldWin's Doublemates paper in Lovely Lilac. This beautiful paper is a 90lb textured stock that is a light shade on one side and darker on the other. The inside is a 80lb light Lavender Colormates.

I hope the client is very happy with her order. I'd like to Thank the Bride and Groom for having me be apart of their special day. All the best to both of you.

Now I am working on another invitation order and am waiting for some supplies. White I'm waiting I am getting the basic printing and cutting done. Look for another post soon.

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day all....
Here are a few projects I completed last week.

These are Valentine Lollipops I made for my daughters dance class friends. So simple and so cute. It is a matchbox pattern done to my own measurements to fit the lollipops.

I traced the hearts using a stencil on red cardstock and then cut. I used a white pencil lead just for some fun shading.

And of course, we couldn't forget the dance class teacher.

This is a tri-shutter card and sentiments are printed from the computer done in Photoshop.

I've just complete an invitation order and may have another one soon. I am looking forward to working on a few of my own things over the next couple of days though.

Post-it Note Holder

It's been awhile since I posted, I'm so sorry....yet again. I am going to try to make a post as least once a week, if not more.

This year has been very busy for me so far. I started preparing for craft fairs as soon as the year started. Which is where this little cutie will be headed. These post it note holders are great little gifts, or just to have around the house (phone) with a mini pen to kick. Ain't it sweet.

Right now I am also working on an invitation order (future post) so a few projects are on hold for now. January through to April is a busy time for Wedding invitations so if there's anyone out there looking to order, please contact me as soon as possible so you won't be disappointed.
I did say that this project is headed for the fall fairs, but that doesn't mean you can't have one now. Email me at trinitys.designs@nf.sympatico.ca for the details.
I also just finished valentine treats for my daughters dance class. They turned out so sweet (another future post). I can't wait to get started on all the projects in my head. There's so much in there, just can't get it out...Ha! Some things to keep on the lookout for will be bookmarks and scrapbook embellishments.
Cheers,
Pamela

Iceberg Alley

What a breath-taking site Newfoundland is this time of year.

Sunday we drove to Twillingate/Durrell for a few hours and came upon these beautiful bergs close to shore. What an amazing site.

At the same time the caplin were rolling in. Trinity loved watching the little fish jump around on the rocks.

What a great trip we had. More images are available on my facebook group to view.

Baby Shower card ~ $4.50

This is a Baby Shower card I made for my mother who was invited to a shower. The feet are quilled with pink 1/8 wide paper, shaped, glued, and then attached with Mod Podge sealer.
It's been a while since I've updated. I am preparing now for Craft Fair which is keeping me busy and all the nice weather doesn't help. I hope to get back and update again soon.
